Teenager was struck to death by thunderbolt in Ekiti state

The young teenager was said to be a Secondary School student.
The incident occured at the early hour 31st of Saturday in Emure, Ekiti State and this has drawn a long face to the community.
According to the report gathered, the boy and his friend went up the mountain in the community where they chased away the hen and packed the eggs which was in it hatching cycle to fry.
However, the deceased was struck dead by thunder after eating the eggs but the deceased friend had luck that he hasn't eaten his shared eggs when the in cause of the happenings.
A notice was made by the Traditional worshippers that the gods must be appeased in order to save the other friends life.
At the hearing of the terrible sound the police on duty was thrown into confusion and pushed them into hiding, a big tree in front of the Police  Station fell by the thunder. Although, no other peeson was hurt.

Gunmen burnt down houses, while five died in kaduna community

On Thursday evening Gunmen stormed a village in kaura local government area of kaduna State, burned down houses and leaving five (5) villagers dead in the cause.
The Interim Management committee chairman of the local government, Mr Bege Katuka told News Agency of Nigeria, on Friday, in kafanchan that the Unknown men stormed that village about 4:00p.m. In the cause of the Gunmen's action a number of houses, which includes the new Police Outpost were vandalised and burnt.

While the investigation was ongoing he urge the people of the community to put their minds at rest and have full confidence the security agents. Kaduna state Police Command Public Relation Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo, confirmed the incident and said it occurred in Kiri Village boardering Plateau. One Daniel Monday who initially sustained injuries later died while four other corspe were discovered.
The Police Area Commander in Kafanchan led a troop of the policemen to the affected area, the hoodlums on the sight took to their hills to the hilltop near Ryom Local Government in Plateau State, moreover investigation is still in progress.
