Formal Ekiti Councilor arrested as gang head of vehicle theft
The EFCC, The Economic and financial Crimes Commission, arrested the formal councilor in Ekiti local Government Area of Kwara state, Samuel Opeyemi Adeojo on an accusation to be the Head of notorious groups for stealing vehicles from car dealers by disguising as a group to be a genuine buyers.
Although, the EFCC has been trial after numerous state of petitions against his groups criminal activities were considered by the Commission’s Ibandon zonal office. Three cases of car thefts have been convicted against his groups and all are under the commission’s custody in Ibandon, Oyo State. Investigations still ongoing.
